Hazel and Cass Photography in my studio
Last year I started painting interesting backdrops for my studio. This was to add a unique look to my photos. Before I unleashed my new backdrops on my clients I wanted to try them out with a model. Who better to model than little Hazel, part of the brand Hazel and Cass Photography.

Hazel is one cute little girl and told me what she thought of my backdrops. One was a pink colour with spots. I still have it but very keen to paint over it shortly as I don’t use it for client work. It is a bit too out there. Hazel has great taste and instantly sat down, refusing to pose and said “Yuck, yuck, yuck” over and over. I was in stitches as was my friend Cass. My other friend Craig came along as well as a model and he was also laughing pretty hard.

Hazel and her red hair
You would think that a little girl with wild red hair would not suit a red dress but my word did she look magnificent. I put her in my red Dollcake dress and used the green/blue/brown backdrop which takes on different colours depending how you light it and edit it. I decided that this was the perfect warm backdrop to suit the red dress and Hazel’s red hair. She did a lovely little bit of posing for me and pulled out a bit of sass.
